Pope Francis speaks about the issue of the return of Armenian captives

On 4 April 2021, on the occasion of the Holy Resurrection Feast, in his annual address to the St. Peter's Basilica, Pope Francis addressed the issue of the return of captives. "May he (the God) allow the captives of the conflicts, especially in eastern Ukraine and Nagorno Karabakh to return safely, safe and sound to their families, and may he inspire the world leaders to control the newest arms' race", he said.

This is the fifth time since July last year that the Pope has addressed the Artsakh conflict.
