Discussion on Armenia–European Union Partnership

On July 10, the Representation of Armenia to the EU, in cooperation with the international magazine Diplomatic World, organized a discussion on the Armenia–EU partnership and regional developments.

Ambassador Tigran Balayan, as the keynote speaker, provided a comprehensive overview of the steps undertaken by the Government of Armenia toward closer alignment with the EU, presented opportunities for deepening cooperation, and addressed the challenges encountered along the way.

In the context of regional developments, Ambassador Balayan emphasized the importance of unblocking regional transport routes, presenting the “Crossroads of Peace” project elaborated by the Government of Armenia.

The meeting was attended by representatives from various EU institutions, think tanks, NGOs, analytical foundations, and academic circles, as well as journalists, who shared their views and posed questions to the Ambassador.
