Ambassador of Armenia in Brussels handed over his credentials to the President of the European Commission

On June 21 Head of the Mission of Armenia to the EU Ambassador Tigran Balayan presented his credentials to the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

At the ceremony, Ambassador Balayan highly appreciated the role of the European Union and thanked Ursula von der Leyen for her personal efforts towards further deepening the Armenia-EU relations and development of partnership, as well as strengthening Armenia's resilience.

Ambassador Balayan conveyed the message of the Prime Minister of Armenia to the President of the European Commission. President von der Leyen, in her turn, thanked for the warm words, conveyed her greetings to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinayn, assuring that she will continue to pursue the implementation of the agreements reached as a result of the Armenia-US-EU Trilateral High-Level meeting held on April 5.
