Armenian week at the College of Europe

On February 25, at the initiative of Armenian students and with the support of the Embassy of Armenia in Belgium, the opening ceremony of the National week dedicated to Armenia took place at the College of Europe in Bruges, followed by the event of the Armenian wine tasting.

The ceremony was attended by students of the College of Europe, as well as the teaching staff. The Armenian corner featured books, leaflets, information brochures about Armenia, information materials about the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative, as well as souvenirs.

The National week concluded with an event dedicated to Armenian culture, during which Armenian national dances were performed by the Antwerp Armenian Dance Ensemble, as well as a video was displayed telling about Armenian culture and religion.

During the last day, all those present had the opportunity to taste Armenian traditional Gata and participate in a quiz about the history and geography of Armenia.
