Brussels hosts the EU-Armenia Cooperation Committee thirteenth meeting

On October 8 Brussels hosted the 13th EU-Armenia Cooperation Committee meeting, co-chaired by the Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan, on Armenian side and Gunnar Wiegand, head of the European Commission's Unit for Relations with Russia as well as the acting director for Eastern Europe, Southern Caucasus, and Central Asia, in the Commission's Directorate-General for External Relations on EU side.

In line with the established agenda the parties discussed the EU-RA Action Plan implementation process within the framework of the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP), as well as EU-RA Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade (DCFTA) zone establishment related issues.

The agenda also included the topics on rule of law, human rights and fundamental freedoms, transport and energy cooperation, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict regulation, Armenian-Turkish relations, EU assistance programs, and
