Ambassador Markarian had a meeting with the Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn

On May 11, Head of Armenia’s Mission to the EU, Ambassador Tatoul Markarian had a meeting with the Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn.

During the meeting preparatory works of the Eastern Partnership Riga Summit were discussed. Ambassador Markarian presented Armenia’s position and approaches on a number of issues in this regard.

Johannes Hahn highly assessed his visit to Armenia in March this year. Touching upon the situation in the region he prioritised the implementation of regional cooperation projects, which will facilitate de-escalation of the situation in general and establishment of stability.

Sides stressed the continuation of the constructive dialogue ahead of the Riga Summit.
