On November 9, the Award Ceremony of the European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL) celebrated the thirteen national laureates at the Flagey culture house in Brussels. Among this year’s winners is the talented Armenian writer Aram Pachyan, with his experimental novel “P/F”.

The aim of the EUPL is to put the spotlight on the creativity and diverse wealth of Europe’s contemporary literature in the field of fiction, to promote the circulation of literature within Europe and to encourage greater interest in non-national literary works.

It was an honour for the Mission of Armenia to the EU to accept the award on behalf of Aram Pachyan, who was unable to travel to Brussels.
