On November 8-10, within the framework of a working visit to Brussels, the Chairman of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly of Armenia Arman Yeghoyan, the Head of the "Civil Contract" faction Hayk Konjoryan, and MP Sona Ghazaryan had meetings with a number of Members of the European Parliament, including the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs David McAllister, Members of the same committee: Ilhan Kyuchyuk, Petras Auštrevičius, Anna Fotyga, Raphaël Glucksmann, as well as Bert-Jan Ruissen, Ryszard Czarnecki and Angel Dzhambazki.

During the meetings, the current conditions and status of those subjected to ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh, the situation in the South Caucasus region and the prospects of Armenia-EU relations were discussed. At the same time, the interlocutors exchanged ideas on a wide range of issues related to regional security and stability. In this context, the Armenian MPs presented the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative put forward by Armenia.

The democratic development of Armenia, the ambitious reforms agenda and the need for continuous deepening of relations with the EU were once again stressed by both sides.
