Meeting of the Foreign Minister of Armenia with the President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives

On May 6, on the sidelines of the “Yerevan Dialogue” international forum, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives Peter de Roover.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues on the development of the bilateral partnership between Armenia and Belgium, in which the established ties and progressive agenda between the parliaments of the two countries play a special role.

Satisfaction was expressed over the achievements recorded in Armenia-European Union relations, and the prospects for Armenia’s European integration were discussed.

Views were exchanged on regional issues. Minister Mirzoyan presented the steps aimed at the continued institutionalization of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Humanitarian issues were also touched upon.
