Visit of the Participants of the Diplomatic School to the Embassy of Armenia in Belgium

On May 21, the Embassy of Armenia in Belgium welcomed the participants of the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia as part of their study visit to Brussels.

During the meeting, Ambassador Balayan highlighted recent achievements and ongoing initiatives in the Armenia–Belgium, Armenia–European Union, and Armenia–Luxembourg partnerships. He also provided an overview of international and regional developments, which was followed by an engaging question-and-answer session.

An official reception was subsequently held in honor of the Diplomatic School’s visit, bringing together representatives from the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Parliament. The event offered future diplomats a platform to exchange views with officials from Belgium and the European Union.

On the previous day, at the initiative of the Embassy, the participants visited the European Parliament, where they met with MEP Nils Ušakovs, Chair of the Delegation to the EU–Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee, and MEP Geadis Geadi, a member of the same delegation. They also visited the Belgian Chamber of Representatives, where they held meetings with MPs Darya Safai and Ellen Samyn.
